Hi,

See the small test attached. Fix in SVN.

Yeah, it wasn't hard to change, once I understood what was needed and remembered how I set up the glyph decomposition table. Here, in effect it picks out the pattern of dots beneath the letter.

Thanks, David!

The definitive references are The Unicode Standard 9.0 ch. 9 pp. 381–384, which explains the concept of Joining_Group, and ArabicShaping.txt, which defines the Joining_Group of each Arabic letter. U+063D, U+063E, U+063F, and U+06CE have Joining_Group=Farsi_Yeh, which means they have two dots below in the initial and medial forms and no dots below in the final and isolated forms.

U+0678 has Joining_Group=Yeh, which means it has the same number of dots below in all forms (in this case, zero). L2/11-092 suggests that maybe it should be Farsi_Yeh, but nothing seems to have come of that suggestion. Since U+0678 is the front vowel corresponding to the dotless U+0649, it stands to reason that U+0678 should be dotless too.

I'm going to have to do some research on this one.

I have some notes from when I made the letters. Perhaps you could look at these references, and guide me to a definitive reference.
