Your document says as much. In fact it says nothing of how the symbol should look in Georgian text.

Now that I look at it, the arabic numerals don't match well at all the Georgian range. Really the Georgian don't go as well as I would like with the Laten letters generally, and latin-arabic numerals particularlay.

It's a problem.

The point (we have invented) of putting all the scripts into one font is that the different scripts should look OK side-by-side. Georgian is intrinsically difficult to put next to Latin script, since Latin is aligned to a baseline, and Georgian is aligned to a centerline. Still, in modern Georgian typography they use latin-arabic numerals.

But yeah. The only way to go is to align the thing with the numerals as they are, even if it results in something grossly out of whack with Georgian script.

It seems to me that, as a currency symbol, it should be aligned with the digits 0-9 most of all.

Thanks for your attention.

This letter was made to be positioned to Georgian text, which is a bit at odds with Latin text.

For now, I'll just move it, but there should be a better solution.

Thanks, David!

The Lari symbol is positioned too low in the Sans and Serif fonts (Mono is OK). (See attached image)

Also there are official design guidelines for the Lari at http://www.unicode.org/L2/L2015/15168-lari-symbol-manual.pdf
