Fixed in git, 92c97c7.

It works and is usable down to four columns. With less than four columns, things degrade and aren't usable -- but fixing that is for some other time. At least it doesn't crash, not even when going down to one column, one line.

Currently, when the terminal is very narrow, nano shows /nothing/ of the answer: it just shows: $ + cursor + space. You have to do several <Left>s to piece the current answer together.

Expected behavior: nano should show always at least the last character of the answer. That is: when the terminal is just four columns wide, it would show: $ + character + cursor + space. If you then do <Home>, this would become: space + char/curs + char + $.
