I have reopened bug #46330.
It's a good idea to remove the test file, until
bug 46330 will be solve, otherwise __run_test_suite__ will crash Octave.
I have Windows environment and I can test further patches.

I can temporary remove this test file, but it does not solve the problem, which is indeed serious for Windows users, that such a simple script crashes Octave.
My dilemma is, that I had no Windows environment to test further patches. Do you have the resources to further investigate this bug?

If I run
test bug-46330.tst still crashes.
I also check with fpucw () that the control word indeed changed.
This Windows 32-bit executable.

The test code also crashes 64-bit Octave (not 64-b indexing).

Avinoam, if you run
first, does that change anything?
This is 32-bit mode executable, right?
