The Plank 2015 Cosmological parameters paper (XIII) was recently published (September 20th, 2016), so the default parameters of CosmicCalculator have been updated and pushed to the main repo.

To clarify, by "compared to observational errors", I meant the errors in other measurements which are used in conjunction with these. For example the errors in measuring the redshifts of galaxies.

Thanks for the update. It appears that they are waiting to have a full issue of Astronomy & Astrophysics devoted to Plank 2015 results. Like A&A, Volume 571 (November 2014) which was only devoted to Plank 2013 results.

You can also tell from the links in the esa.int page of the previous comment: all 2013 results link to A&A while the 2015 results link to arXiv. Unfortunately it doesn't appear that they have uploaded an update (corresponding to the accepted version) to arXiv. So we don't know if the final accepted (to be published) values are the same or not.

The change in the values from the 2013 results and the pre-accepted version of the 2015 results is not significant (compared to observational errors), so there is no major rush. When it is published, we will certainly update these values.

The paper has been accepted, though I don't know if it's already published (if it is, it isn't linked to http://adsabs.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/bib_query?arXiv:1502.01589 yet)

Thank your for highlighting this important issue. A comment was added in src/cosmiccal/astcosmiccal.conf file (main system wide configuration file after installation) to cite the reference for these values. It has been merged into master.

The current default values in CosmicCalculator come from the Plank 2013 results (link below, page 10, Table 2, Plank+lensing results)

http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2014A%26A...571A..16P

One of the main reasons that I didn't use the 2015 results is that they are not yet accepted by A&A for publication (last column of link below):

http://www.cosmos.esa.int/web/planck/publications

So I thought that if the journal editors have not yet accepted to publish these results yet, we should also be a little patient ;-). In version-control-speak, its like a commit that has not yet been merged into master ;-)!

When those results are finally accepted by the editors and published, we will certainly update CosmiCalculator's default values too. Ofcourse, from the ADS link to the 2015 results (link below), you see that until now 1256 people have used the 2015 results in their papers.

http://adsabs.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/bib_query?arXiv:1502.01589

If those people want to use the 2015 parameters with CosmicCalculator, they can easily modify src/cosmiccal/astcosmiccal.conf before installation, or modify them in their user and current directory configuration files (using the --setdirconf and --setusrconf options). For those readers who are not yet fully familiar, please have a look at the "Configuration files" section of the manual (link below).

Where the default values of cosmological parameters were drawn from? The most recent values provided by Planck are

0.6911 ± 0.0062 (dark energy)
0.3089 ± 0.0062 (whole matter)
67.74 ± 0.46 (Hubble's constant)

See http://arxiv.org/abs/1502.01589, page 31, table 4, last column.
