At the top of the screen, like on Linux systems? Hmm. My nano doesn't put the prompt or cursor at the top of the screen after exit. On a VT (a Linux console), it doesn't even clear the screen: it leaves the titlbar and the file text in place, just clears the two help lines, and puts the prompt and cursor on the bottom line. Pico and vim do the same.

On an emulated terminal, nano restores the screen to what it was when typing Enter after the nano command line. Pico and vim do the same.

If you want the cursor at the top, maybe you could make a little script, nn.sh?

#!/bin/sh
nano $@;
clear;

Hi,

When I exit the nano console, the screen is cleared but the cursor is at the
bottom of the screen.
Is it possible to make it at the top of the screen like on Linux systems?
