Tailcall is broken on Linux/amd64 as well.

i just built git HEAD with gcc 5.3.0 on GNU/Linux x86, and "tutorial/t5.c" yields random results on each run. it looks like JIT_CALL_TAIL is not working properly — at least on my arch.
