yes. it was a Debian packaging bug, thanks to all who sorted this out. Now fixed in Debian's 2.0.2 package

After rebuilding from source (2.0.2) I can no longer reproduce this issue so it appears to have been specific to 2.0 (of the Debian packages at least)

(from Phil)
Having problems updating via the bug tracker so posting to the list:

GNU Denemo version 2.0.0
Gtk versions runtime: 3.18.6, compiled against: 3.18.6

The package came from the Debian testing (stretch) repository.

What is the output of

denemo --version

And where did the executable come from?

When playing a score via Playback-> Play (or Play All), the score plays as expected. However, if I forget to select Playback->Stop playback not work subsequently until Denemo is restarted. It does not appear to matter if you hit the stop button minutes after finishing, playback will still not work until restarting the application.

Running on Debian testing
