Thanks for handling this. With this the OpenBSD port for gforth 0.7.3 is without local patches!

I would have hoped somebody from the other BSDs would comment, but for now, I close the bug. If these other BSDs implement cacheflush on MIPS the same way OpenBSD does, the patch will work there.

It seems this was addressed in http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/gforth.git/commit/?id=4a03e4ff51314fc3a97acedeee928822b3bf1433 so this ticket can be closed now.

None of the others have patches in the ports/pkgsrc trees for mips64. However looking at FreeBSD and NetBSD they don't have cacheflush() so the wrong header being included is the least of their problems.

What about other BSDs? There are MIPS32 port for FreeBSD and NetBSD. I rather want to fix it for all BSD versions than just one.

There is no OpenBSD port to a 32-bit, and it's highly unlikely there'll ever be one.

Would that be <mips/sysarch.h> on a 32 bit MIPS OpenBSD installation?

The attached patch allows gforth 0.6.2 to build on OpenBSD. While I've not yet tried 0.7.3 the patch will be needed regardless as OpenBSD/mips64 has mips64/sysarch.h instead of sys/cachectl.h
