No response to request for an example that demonstrates the crash, closing report.

Hi,

Can you provide a sample code to demonstrate the bug? At least the following does not lead to a crash on linux with octave 4.0 (with or without the GUI enabled) but rather an expected error message:

I agree with you that case sensitivity for graphics properties is something we should deal with at some point but this should be the subject of another bug report.

Calling any function in an .m-file that tries to access a structure elemnt which does not exists results in a complete GUI crash. This is esp. annyoing when dealing with key sensitivity, where the documentation of Octave/scilab displays upper case (such as https://help.scilab.org/doc/5.3.3/en_US/uicontrol.html) structure members when for Octave it should be lowercase.
