Thanks, It solved the problem.

Maybe

--disable-openmp

should be added to http://hg.octave.org/mxe-octave/file/b74ded5caa31/src/graphicsmagick.mk?

The lines in grahics magic that are creating a a static only library are here:

Previously in the log, it checks for gomp:
checking for GOMP_parallel_start in -lgomp... yes

On my machine it did not look for it, so it might be that since you recompiled graphics magic later on, it found a library that in the normal sequence of a new build it would nt find.

Since we dont depend on openmp, perhaps the graphicmagic configure options should include:

--disable-openmp

Thanks for your help.
I could not find why it didn't create the dynamic library.

The log is attached.

It is effectively complaining that it cant find the dynamic library libGraphicsMagick++ for some reason.

You would probally need look at the log file for graphics magic and look for a warning that says why it didn't create the dynamic library.

I've rebuilt mxe-octave a number of times in last week or so without issues, so the easier thing to do might just be do a create rebuild of mxe-octave and verify it then works.

After rebuilding GraphicsMagick, I could not build MXE-Octave:

Any clue what went wrong?
