When using the controlmaster option, a temporary directory is created in the user's $HOME/.parallel directory, using the tempdir function, with the automatic cleanup option.

In our setup, the home-directories are on an NFS-shared volume. This setup makes the cleaning up of the temporary directory fail. In general, tempdir on an NFS volume is advised against in the Perl documentation.

It would be nice to have:

- a configurable location for the control master temporary directory, and/or
- use $ENV{'TMPDIR'} as location for the control master temporary directory

because the $ENV{'TMPDIR'} is usually not on an NFS-shared volume.
