Hi Anon,

You can use the `-frelax-level-hierarchy` to compile your code.

I have downloaded a number of programs from my work system. This is a z/OS system, running IBM's COBOL compiler. That's just for background. For some reason, there are a few COPY books with unusual numbering, similar to the following:

01 SOME-STRUCTURE.
05 SUB-STRUCTURE.
10 VARIABLE1 PIC ... .
10 VARIABLE2 PIC ... .
03 SUPER-SUB-STRUCTURE-1.
05 SUB-STRUCTURE-2.
10 VARIABLE3 PIC ... .
10 VARIABLE4 PIC ... .
05 VARIABLE5 PIC ... .

GNUCobol complains about the 03 level whereas the IBM compiler does not. Closer compatibility would be nice.
