This is not a bug report. This is an help request. There are many ways to obtain support but the bug tracker is not one of them. Please see http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/support.html

Hi,

Running:
pkg install -forge nan

works fine for me

it does print out a lot of warnings during the install.

Once installed, you need to use:
pkg load nan

in order to get it loaded for use.

Someone may be able answer the octpy part, if it is still a problem.

How to install nan pkg on Octave 3.8.2 on Windows?

Do I need to download tar archive from sourceforge and install it using pkg install nan.x.x.x?

I tried pkg install nan-2.8.1.tar.gz but get lots of errors.

I want to run nanfft in windows 7

error code is

"Oct2PyError: Name: "nanfft" does not exist on the Octave session path" in python

I use oct2py in python
