Yes thanks for catching this, it is fixed in commit 56f4f44241966405830e7a476418a9e9b0e0aaa7

Dear all,

the example doc/examples/fitting2.c stops with the error message that the work space is not of appropriate size.

If multifit/multiwlinear.c makes the checks for nmax and pmax the
function seems to work.

Could it be that the renaming/extra fields of n/nmax p/pmax are the source of this trouble?
