The example in "help sqp" works fine for me on Windows with Octave-4.0.0 and 4.1.0+ (development version).

Do you have example code that doesn't work for you?

sqp causes complete closure of octave 4.0.0 back to the desktop.
I tried my program which includes sqp in 3.8.2 and it works perfectly.
