To reproduce the problem:

Open psppire
Go the the variables window
Type a new name to create a numeric variable
Go to the data window
Push the "Find Case" dialog button
Select the variable and type in some search data.
Push Find -> Crash

Psppire crashes due to the assertion:

psppire: ../pspp/src/data/datasheet.c:817: rw_case: Zusicherung »lrow < datasheet_get_n_rows (ds)« nicht erfüllt.
Abgebrochen

I tried this in debian unstable.
