Hi Steve,

I found Wikipedia article Yat have refered ě with other diacritics, such as mě̀sto, cě̑lъ, bě́lъ, but other diacritics overlays with caron.

Hello Anonymous,

Sorry, that is not specific enough.

As I stated, several issues I saw in one of your previous posts have been fixed. I can provide you with recent builds so you can see for yourself, but you have to tell me how to reach you (best by logging in to Savannah.)

In this category page you can also find them in some templates that named with "Letter with".

The quality of that Wikipedia page is very low.
I suspect that most of the combinations in it are never used.
And a few are just wrong.

And it pointed me to the page on ISO 9, which is quite useful

Nonetheless, there were a few substantiated combinations that weren't working. Most of these are now fixed.

NOTES:

  • all the Vietnamese combinations already work, for Vietnamese text. See the 'usage.txt' file.
  • combinations for some First Nations languages, such as the Comox č̓, are contentious. There is more than one combining mark possible here, and rather different styles of handling things.
  • the entry 'C with cedilla and breve' is wrong in saying it is in ISO 9. Maybe they mean C with ogonek?

Thanks for pointing this out!

Hi,

now I see several.

1) part of this is a new effect I'm noticing, whereby a pre-composed character is replaced for a letter with a mark.
I don't remember this from before, I suspect it's new. I don't know why or where it comes from.

2) We will concentrate on combinations that are actually used.
Many entries in this list fail to say where or for what they are used.

This will be in SVN soon. If you are interested, contact me, and I can give you a built copy of the new font.

Hi, Anonymous,

Which letters specifically? There are several hundred on that page, and most look right to me.

In what way are the characters wrong?

It is also helpful sometime to have a image, a screenshot.

Cheers!

Could you please fix?
