It's not true that 3.79.1 will eliminate the warnings. The warnings are there for a reason: almost always because there is a difference in the clock between the system you are running make on and the system that serves your filesystem.

As long as there is that difference, it's possible that the timestamps that make relies on to know when to rebuild things will be inaccurate, which means that makes decisions will be inaccurate. There's no way make can "fix" this because there's no way it can know what the proper time is.

All it can do is detect a potential problem and report it.
