So this is expected behavior for any Scintilla-based editor? Close as won't fix?

To my opinion, this isn't really a bug since the command is for transposing the current line, not the current selection. The octave editor (i.e. Scintilla) behaves the same way as, e.g. geany or code::blocks.

Yes, this can be easily worked around, I am just reporting it. I didn't even knew what it did, I stumbled upon it while working on the Portuguese translation.

Okay, I can confirm it.
I've lowered the severity to Minor since I think you can work around it pretty easily by Cut/move cursor 1 line above/Paste.

It's on the Editor panel, Edit > Commands > Transpose Line (shortcut is Ctr+T).

I'm trying to replicate the bug. Where is the "transpose line" option?

Open the GUI, and select a few lines. Choosing to transpose the line will only move the last line of the selection and not the whole selection.
