Thanks for your bug report. I believe it is the same as reported in bug #44040. If you read that bug report log and the problem you are seeing is not covered there, please feel free to clarify or add information.

The octave-gui editor seems to have problems with lines wider than the window. When I open the attached file in the editor and move the bottom scroll bar to the right end, the end of the second line is not reached. Placing the cursor in line 2 and pressing the end key moves the cursor out of the visible area. However, if I now move the cursor with the direction keys, the end of the line becomes visible and the scroll bar now covers the whole length of the line.
I am working under Windows 7 64bit.
