The version mentioned in the bug report is no longer supported.
It is strongly suggested that the user upgrade to the current
release version for better security and performance.

Hey plexq,
Have you tried anglemail from http://www.anglemail.com ?? this has many fixes to problems such as these. It is a drop in replacement for the stock phpgw email client.

Change phpgw_parse_str into parse_str.
It should have been changed into CVS, so update !
