Thanks for your bug report. I am unable to reproduce this with a current build of Octave's development branch on Windows XP.

How did you install or build the Octave that you see this with? Are you able to test the development version of Octave to see if the problem still occurs? Can you attach a screen shot?

Does not affect functionality per say, but when I type in the GUI command window, the cursor trails the end of the command. For instance if I were to type in: fprintf, I end up with a blinking cursor over the "r". This is happening with the courier new font and all other monospaced fonts I've tried.
