the configure script already utilizes pkg-config to query ncurses/ncursesw libraries. if they were built with a sep libtinfo, then the pkg-config file would have included that. so things are already working.

i would punt this bug until the reporter can provide more/real details like config.log from the failing run.

Dear nano crew,

I am compiling the nano editor in an environment where the libterminfo part is seperate
from libncursesw.

nano fails to compile because it needs "curscr" which is on my system not defined
in libncursesw but in libtinfo.

Obviously not a big deal since simply adding "LIBS=ltinfo" solves my problem, but maybe I am
not the only one having this issue and (though I do not fully understand it) I guess that a
simple check in "configure" could solve this.
