ok - can you create a new bug report for this issue as it is not related to epstool (or a problem in 3.8.2)

Hi,
we have the same output.
Checking again, print works for me in 3.8.2,
(both with gnuplot & fltk),
but not in 4.1.0+ (it works only with gnuplot).

I use fltk toolkit and works for me

Wed 07 Jan 2015 07:44:23 PM UTC, comment #14:
Hi,
It doesn't work with fltk, it works with gnuplot.
Strangely enough, using gnuplot tool kit, the postscript or
jpeg image created by print command is the image of the
fltk image, not gnuplot.

Hi,
I have used the patch. Now, using the pushed change,
epstool.exe is in the bin ditrectory.
Thanks, :-)

You try the pushed change to mxe-octave, or the patch?
I saw the issue in attached patch and should have changed it when I pushed it up

Hi,
It compiled for me, but epstool.exe is installed in
C:\Octave\Octave-4.1.0+\usr\bin
and not in
C:\Octave\Octave-4.1.0+\bin
Thanks,

Get it to compile using the cross compiler?
I believe there is a makefile in there for Visual c++, so maybe using that to give some guidance what defines and files required for the compile might be of help.

Hi,
thanks.
What do you recommend to do now?
Is there a way to create a windows executable for epstool?
Which formats are not available?
Is there any suitable replacement?
Thanks,
Avinoam

It compiles, however does not cross compile to create a windows executable.

Hi,
I have tried to build a patch for epstool.
the attached patch (epstool.mk + epstool.patch)
dowloads epstool, compile it, but does not
place it in the right place, so it doesn't appear
in the the installer.
Can someone fix this patch?
Thanks,
Avinoam
