The issue with minimizing the command window is that then the initial welcome to octave wizard is also minimized and so nothing gets displayed normally on the screen. I remember taking a bit of a look at trying to override the minimize for the welcome wizard, but couldnt find a way in Qt.	John Donoghue <lostbard>
