OK. I deleted the ~/.TeXmacs folder and everything works now. Thanks!

The error messages is rather clear: there is a corrupted file in your personal .TeXmacs folder. Deleting /home/stefan/.TeXmacs/system/interactive.scm should likely solve the issue. This file could have got corrupted when you entered a typo in a scheme command line (which are remembered in interactive.scm).

Marking the bug as invalid since it's not an issue with texmacs startup code itself IMHO.
