Patchset http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/health/rev/7da77a9c7069 will automatically take care of the conversion in the upgrade process.

No need to execute the SQL script anymore.

Fixed in changeset 1549:6ca7c64e8dc1

Please apply the patch and run the script as indicated in the header of the sql file. Then update your database.

I have ran it in the community server and it seems ok. Nevertheless, do BACKUP your instance and run it on a test environment until we confirm it is ok.

There is a bug in the upgrade process from 2.4 to 2.6 series that won't assign the appointments to the new institution model.

The new installations (from 2.6 series) are not affected.

Thank you Eduardo de la Garza for noticing and reporting !
