On Debian, screen (as well the 4.1.0 snapshot in Debian Wheezy/Stable as well as 4.2.1 in Debian Jessie/Testing and Sid/Unstable) always exits with return code -1 if called with the option "-ls".

The exit code seems independent of the fact that there is a session running or not as well as of the fact that the session is detached or attached.
