Version 1.03.000 Jul 13 2014 appears to work perfectly. Thank you.

Yes that release in Debian Testing is definitely much newer. You could build the latest version from our revision control system on Debian Wheezy. I use Debian Wheezy for my development. I have sent you an email directly with instructions to build directly from source on Debian based systems. If you don't see my email check your spam folder just in case.

If you can manage to build it and test it to see if your problem persists, I'd appreciate an update.

Debian 7 Wheezy 64 bit

Linux version 3.2.58-xenU-11-50785a6-x86_64 (package@wheezy64) (gcc version 4.7.2 (Debian 4.7.2-5) ) #40 SMP Tue May 6 15:39:12 UTC 2014

GNU Backgammon 0.90.0 Apr 29 2012

Debian Testing has version 1.02.000-2. There is no backport but I will try and install it.

What Linux OS (And version do you use)? Could you also post the version number that appears when you launch GNUBG with -t.

There are many versions of GNUBG 0.90 that date back back as far as 6-7 years ago. I seem to recall fixing a bug related to this many years ago. My guess at present is that one may have to build a new version from source for your platform or acquire newer binary packages from your distro (if they exist). Knowing your distro and version can help me know what choices you may have.

Running from the command line using 'gnubg -tq'. The command 'end game' crashes the program with the message 'Segmentation fault'.
