I've seen the bug was reported in 2011 (https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=34624)

When I change the working directory via the 'cd' command the Tab key only makes the name completion at the first level, i. e., if I start octave and I need to change to a directory called, for example, Desktop/myproject, the name completion using the Tab key only works when I type 'Desktop', but for the 'myproject' folder I need to type the complete name. I've compiled Octave in Debian Sid, satisfying all the dependencies. Is this a known issue?

Thanks
