Then, is there any plan moving to Git?

I totally agree. Pull requests, superfast branching, waaaay better issue tracker with lots of (useful) features... (Although I use bitbucket for my private stuff, not github.)

Have you guys ever considered moving to git and github?

The svanannah interface, is, imho, incredibly difficult to use compared to the github issue tracker. Github provides a better tagging system, has a pull request system with the changes visible side-by-side instead of offering patch files.

I personally think that moving to git will encourage more people to contribute patches to the project due to git and github's large user base, and allow texmacs to gain more exposure.

What do you think?
