Use memdisk. This is much easier than adding such support into GRUB itself.

I'd like to be able to boot a DOS boot floppy that I can generate using dd if=/dev/fd0 of=bootfloppy.file

Somehow I only get various errors, mostly E24.

I'd also like to be able to boot OpenBSD directly.
