Version 3.2.1 of Octave is ancient and no longer supported. If you can reproduce the problem with the most recent stable version of Octave, 3.8.2, feel free to file another report.

If I have previously produced a plot and closed gnuplot, a subsequent plot command never completes. I suspect that it fails to connect to gnuplot and never returns to the command window.
