Yes, that is true. Actually there are a lot of other thing in that page that are out of date.

I'd actually prefer to have this as a wiki page. I'll redirect the current page to such wiki page when it is ready but don't wait for me to start writing it. I won't have the time until late April.

Many of the existing packages are still maintained in svn though. So the page should give instructions for both svn and hg.
