The patch was applied upstream (http://sourceforge.net/p/scintilla/code/ci/3c9f76544f5d9a40700f7c4bbbe74c39a576fc6f/). Eventually systems using new versions of scintilla will pick up the fix.

Another issue with the lexer that will need to be pushed to scintilla and qscintilla.

The editor highlights ! as a matlab command although octave does not support them. It also does not treat a single ! as an operator.
