You should check with the person providing the builds you are evaluating. I suspect that the builds you are testing are still being built from the 3.8.0 release and do not include updates from the stable branch, but that is only a guess. The maintainer of the build can tell you how it was built. If that is correct, then you'll see the fixes in the upcoming 3.8.1 release.
