I checked in the following changeset

This backs out Dan's change to shift the text up to the top of the window. So now if there is room for a partial line, the gap will be at the bottom instead of the top. That's apparently what is expected by other parts of the QTerminal code.

Since changset 17857:c17a3e43956b (avoid partial lines at top of command window) using the mouse to select text in the Command Window is off by 1 line. It now seems to select text one line below the current cursor position.
