Okay, I can no longer reproduce the bug, neither with the old or the new beamer style.
So I'm closing this bug.

How does this fit within the new beamer style and packages system? I don't even have alt-color anymore...

The following process crash TeXmacs on my machine
1. Create a new document and change to the Beamer style
2. Add the alt-color package
3. Type some math, or begin a theorem, ...
4. TeXmacs crashes !!!
