Reports aren't deleted, merely closed, and they can always be reopened. Please follow up on bug #39505 instead.

Update of bug #39505 (project octave):

Status: None => Invalid
Open/Closed: Open => Closed

I do not know who replied, but insists that inserting delimiters
is a good thing.... which is not the moment the file is loaded by
a second program like a circuit simulator.

My apologies... it is the first time reporting a bug on Octave..

I could tell you the same about hitting delete without asking for a clarification.

What is the original report? Don't open a new one if possible. This just creates more work for us as we try to relate the new report to the old one.

Instead, if the problem persists, request to reopen the old report.

The extra lines... change depending what you choose as delimiter.
In my case it was tabs...
if you change it to . then you have a bunch of .

Creating the file with MATLAB...
File is clean there are no \t\t\t\t\t lines

(DO YOU SEE THE \t\t\t\t\t\t ????)
No THEY ARE NOT HARMLESS TABS.... they actually show up
on any text editor.

File is NOT CLEAN, the \t\t\t\t causes problems when
the generated s2p file is loaded
into microwave simulation packages.
No, trying to clean it up is not a solution...
it is a huge file.
Matlab generated file causes no problems.
