Dear user,
please describe which build (MinGW, Visual Studio, cygwin http://wiki.octave.org/Octave_for_Microsoft_Windows) you have used and how you tried to install instrument-control. Or try to use a current MXE 3.8.1 build.

Because I doubt that the originator still monitors this bug I'll close it now and reopen it upon request.

Directory of instrument-control-0.2.0 archive for MS Windows is not correct. There is no 'inst' directory. When installing it, we have a warning: package instrument-control is empty.
