Using nano version 2.0.9 on CentOS 6.4 over openSSH 5.3p1
When I edit an HTML document, and position my cursor to the place I want to be, sometimes the letters are jumbled until I hit CTRL-L to redraw the screen. It also happens when I start typing, but it doesn't happen in a reproducible manner; it's very random. :-(
In lieu of screenshot, here's a sample of what might happen:
The page contains the following snippet (_ is the cursor position):
_
<tr>
<th>38</th><td>Unsynced Deliveries</td>
<th>0</th><td>Deleted Clients</td>
</tr>
I then navigate to the <th>0</th> part using all 4 arrows and I get this (certified true photostatic copy of my screen):
<tr>
<th>38</th><td>Unsynced Deliveries</td>
<0</th_/th><td>Deleted Clients</td>
<>tr>
If I hit CTRL-L, the screen is redrawn and gives (_ is the cursor position):
<tr>
<th>38</th><td>Unsynced Deliveries</td>
<th>_0</th><td>Deleted Clients</td>
</tr>
That's just using the arrows. The text is plain US-ASCII.
