3.2.4 is an ancient version of Octave that is no longer supported. The issue has been fixed and does not occur in the 3.4.X or 3.6.X series of releases. Please upgrade to the current stable release of 3.6.3 if possible.

the command imagesc does not plot anything, if a vector is given as argument. For example:

imagesc(ones(34,1))

or

imagesc(ones(1,34))
