It would be convenient for each command line to be able to store multiple result files. I'm not sure what the best way to accomplish this is, but one idea would be to add an option to parallel, e.g. --stream-eof, which can be used to signal the end of result file.

For example:

./parallel --results foo --header : --stream-eof PARALLELEOF echo {a}PARALLELEOF{b} ::: a one ::: b two

would produce the following files (or similar):
stdout_1\tfoo\ta\tone\tb\ttwo <-- contains "one"
stdout_2\tfoo\ta\tone\tb\ttwo <-- contains "two"
stderr_1\tfoo\ta\tone\tb\ttwo <-- empty

I'm not sure how broadly useful this would be (it seems like most use cases are well served with a single output file) but I wanted to put it up for discussion.
