When a fold with a left bar (such as the grouped fold, or the default fold in varsession mode) contains much text, it becomes unbearably slow.

In the attached file, I have a simple grouped fold, which many lines of text in it. Typing new text takes more than a second for each character....

To create an equivalent file, just create a grouped fold, and paste much text into it.
