No, I mean that this Savannah project supports the program GNU make, which is a command-line tool used to manage the compilation of programs, or other situations where one set of files needs to be converted to another set of files in a way which can be automated.

This Savannah project has absolutely nothing to do with Mozilla, FireFox, or Gnash / Flash, PowerPC, etc. You're in the wrong place.

The Savannah environment hosts many GNU programs. Most likely you're looking for the Gnash project, which can be found here:

You mean it is all a firefox/mozilla issue? Or perhaps debian? It certainly is too, but I thought the Gnash project cared about the player being compatible with the most commonly used flash pluging package for powerpc. There are not many alternatives if any. What would be the point of a default flashplayer if it doesn`t work with default browser? The lubuntu team points to debian for any responsibility, Debian to Gnash, and the Gnash project would rather not have anything to do with it either?

I know powerpc is old and there is no money in them anymore. There are a lot of iBooks still alive out there, they run fine with a light weight linux distro, the only difficult issues really are flash and media streams in browser. I think the issue is not lubuntu alone, but a bug common to all debian based distros, it is the same in mintppc too, which is debian. Hard to find a person willing and able to take a look at the issue.

There's nothing related to GNU make, that I can see, in your problem description.

I have lubuntu 12.04 ppc build on an iBook g4 with 512MB RAM and 1.42GHz cpu.

I have Gnash (0.8.10-5ubuntu1) installed including the browser plugin package (0.8.10-5ubuntu1 ;from Ubuntu package manager). I have checked for a lot of different sources of errors, but it will not play in browser. Both Firefox 11 and 14.0.1 have been tested (Ubuntu ppc).

Gnash player will not appear embedded in browser, meaning I just get a black space where video and player should be. I have had expert help on irc #gnash channel, but problem could not be sorted out, nor source of error. Gnash will play fine as stand-alone player with test videos from youtube. For some reason Gnash Player does show and play in Midori, though a bit jerkily. (Midori has issues with crashing).

All points to broken browser plugin package for powerpc.
