Excellent program - I use it extensively to overcome the slowness in gvfs based file transfers by displaying messages and then using nautilus scripts to call scp directly.  It all works very well.

I have come across an issue though whereas I get a listing of remote directories from the server and display them as gxmessage buttons.  I select a button (remote dir), and then retrieve the next subdirectory, so on and so forth.

When there are a lot of directories though, the button list does not wrap, or conform to the -geometry flag.  It just makes the window as wide as it needs to be to accommodate them all.

Is this a bug, or just not a feature to have the button list wrap to the specified -geometry size?

Or, if there is a way to make a \n between buttons, that would work as well, but adding it to the label just incereases the buttons' individual heights.

Thanks!

-Greg

Greg, thanks very much for your patience - I appreciate your feedback and I'm sorry about the long delay. I've been a bit sidetracked by earthquakes!

Yep, you're right, this is something gxmessage should handle a lot better. I think the tidiest solution will be to stick to a single row of buttons - but let you scroll through them left<->right if they don't all fit into the width of the window (...the way some programs deal with crowded toolbars).

I'll look into it...
