I reimplemented HOST just now.  It still doesn't support capturing output on Windows.  That is possible, but it would require effort from someone who understands the right APIs on Windows.  I do not (and can't be bothered to figure it out right now).

Are you talking about running from the GUI or from the terminal.

If you mean from the GUI, then this item is a duplicate of bug #25816

Actually it works, but the output is not visible. Redirecting it works.

Any idea how to get a created text file in the output?
