No response to request for test matrix. Closing report.

Octave does load Matlab matrices.

It is more likely that there is something peculiar about the matrix in question that you are trying to load. Can you attach it to the bug report so that developers have an example of a problem file.

Can you please post a sample file that fails?

Hello, for some reason 3.4.3 does not load my matlab-files. It was fine in 3.2 so I wonder what the problem is.

error: load: invalid element type = 15
error: load: trouble reading binary file `test_matrix'

In return, when i save a file in octave as a '*.mat'-file, then octave can reload it, but matlab gets the error:

not a binary MAT-file. Try LOAD -ASCII to read as text

it would be nice if you could fix this, because this is one of the most basic compatibility issues between matlab and octave
