In commit 45044b0 the video size is correct for me.

This should be fixed as of #45044b0. Note that this causes a minor regression for #?32956, which needs to be fixed in a better way.

File properties:
Real dimensions: 425x350
Rendered dimensions: 425x350 <--- this is what we DO NOT WANT
Rendered dimensions: 698x425 <--- this is good

Right-click on the uncovered area works. So Gnash probably knows how big its window is. Remains to check what's the scaleMode. File->Preferences doesn't tell. WOuld be a good addition.

It's also time-related. It sometimes work for me, on reload it stops, then it works again.

With startStopped=true this doesn't happen.
The problem seems to be with handling a resize event.
The nominal SWF size is smaller than the one requested to the browser. Would be also worth checking if it's related to scale mode, that is: does right-click menu work in the black area (the area in which you don't see the movie) ?

(I also noticed with 0.8.10~git20110618-3 (c925c14e) youtube play gets flawless back. Try it and see the difference. What broke it during last 4 months?)

Debian testing, Iceweasel 7.0.1

Downgraded gnash to 0.8.10~git20110618-3 (c925c14e) and it starts with wrong size but by zooming (CTRL++/CTRL+-/CTRL+mouse wheel), movie fits as said in bug #33777

With current master and Debian 0.8.10~git20111001-1 (def15623), movie size doesn't change by zooming.

I confirm that by reverting 227486db, size gets right back.

Yep, I'd say 3 dups. triple reward to who will fix them.

Firefox plugin shows Youtube videos smaller than normal (see attached screenshot). This happens since commit 227486db4262b69ab6895fdea97d2a8166d134bf. If I modify the latest git version by adding back the advance_movie() call that was removed in commit 227486db4262b69ab6895fdea97d2a8166d134bf the video is normal size.

Platform: Slackware 13.37, Firefox 7.0.1

Options for configure script:
--prefix=/usr
--libdir=/usr/lib
--mandir=/usr/man
--enable-renderer=agg,cairo
--disable-glext
--with-plugins-install=system
--with-npapi-incl=/usr/include/seamonkey-2.4.1

This is possibly related to bugs #33157 and #33777.
